Moving from print media, Mark Maynard brings his interview style to the world of AM radio. In the first hour, Mark is joined by Cassandra Sheriff and Karla Graessley from Ypsilanti Community Schools to discuss the announcement that Adams Elementary will be reimagined as an International Baccalaureate school. They discuss the next steps in the transition. Steve Neavling from The Motorcity Muckraker calls in to discuss the future of journalism in the region.
In the second hour, Tori Tomalia, the co-founder of the improv comedy space Pointless Brewery & Theatre stops by talk about what’s new at her space. Finally, Cara Talaska and Teresa Gillotti talk with Mark about the renewed effort to put a playground in Riverside Park. The show ends with the three of them discussing what types of features they’d like in a giant glass penis.
