From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the fifteenth episode of WICKidz Radio hosted by WICIR, the Washtenaw Interfaith Coalition for Immigration Rights.
WICKidz Radio is locally run by youth for youth in the Ypsilanti area. The show focuses on local and national social justice issues. The goal is that listeners can learn and take inspiration from the perspectives of young people, and go out to make a difference.
In this month’s episode, the Manny, Andres & Genesis discuss the relationship between major sporting events and poor neighborhoods. They also touch on the historic flooding in Louisiana.
