WICKidz Radio, Episode 016 :: 24 SEP 2016

From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the sixteenth episode of WICKidz Radio hosted by WICIR, the Washtenaw Interfaith Coalition for Immigration Rights.

WICKidz Radio is locally run by youth for youth in the Ypsilanti area. The show focuses on local and national social justice issues. The goal is that listeners can learn and take inspiration from the perspectives of young people, and go out to make a difference.

In this month’s episode, Manny starts the show off with a passionate breakdown of the Colin Kaepernick national anthem controversy. Later in the show, Andres joins the discussion as he and Manny tie the Kaepernick discussion with recent police shootings in America.

Released 24 September, 2016

Recorded live at AM1700 Radio in historic, downtown Ypsilanti, MI.
