The Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard, Episode 14
From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the fourteenth episode of the Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard.
Moving from print media, Mark Maynard brings his interview style to the world of AM radio. In the first hour, Mark and Patrick Dunn discuss whether it was The Sonics or The Fugs who should be credited as the pioneers of the punk rock movement. Later, Sky Thing fills the studio with a crazy electronic cloud of sound. In the second hour, Rotokiller briefly discuss the benefits of different varieties of kale before playing as fast and loud as the AM1700 studios have experienced. Finally, Andrew Mitchell brings akioke to downtown Ypsilanti as strangers serenade a street full of onlookers with some very spirited singing.
