From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the twenty-first episode of WICKidz Radio hosted by WICIR, the Washtenaw Interfaith Coalition for Immigrant Rights.
WICKidz Radio is locally run by youth for youth in the Ypsilanti area. The show focuses on local and national social justice issues. The goal is that listeners can learn and take inspiration from the perspectives of young people, and go out to make a difference.
In this month’s episode, Andres recaps President Trump’s first month in office.
Later in the show, Manny interviews Evelin Hernandez about what it’s like to live, work, and go to school with an uncertain DAPA / DACA policy.
