From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the second episode of La Radio Raza Latina hosted by Martha Valadez and Juan Zamorano-Gonzalez.

La Radio Raza Latina is the only Spanish-language, issues-oriented radio program in Southeastern Michigan. The focus of La Radio Raza Latina is to discuss news that is important to Latinos in Michigan and the US. La Radio Raza Latina is the radio program of Latin American people that identifies with our families, our town, and our people.

In this week’s episode, Martha and Juan talk with Raquelle Seda from the National Boricua Human Rights Network, Detroit chapter, about the campaign to free Oscar López Rivera. Later in the show, Martha takes a call from Alejo Stark of WICIR’s Stop Fredy’s Deportation committee to hear an update on the recent delay on Fredy Mencia’s deportation. The show ends with Juan addressing the recent comments about Mexicans made by Republican candidate for President Donald Trump.
