From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the fifth episode of La Radio Raza Latina hosted by Martha Valadez and Juan Zamorano-Gonzalez.

La Radio Raza Latina is the only Spanish-language, issues-oriented radio program in Southeastern Michigan. The focus of La Radio Raza Latina is to discuss news that is important to Latinos in Michigan and the US. La Radio Raza Latina is the radio program of Latin American people that identifies with our families, our town, and our people.

In this week’s episode, Martha and Juan discuss the recent rhetoric by Donald Trump and reactions from the Lation community. Later, they interview Ricardo Jimenez, member of the National Boricua Network and political prisoner of 19 years, about his work with Luis Gutierrez and the Hispanic Caucus, his work to get a presidential pardon, and what people can do to help his case. Finally, Norman Ospina joins Martha and Juan in the studio to discuss his international solidarity work with Asociacion Herrera in Cundinamarca, Columbia regarding labor rights with flower growers.
