From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the seventh episode of La Radio Raza Latina hosted by Martha Valadez and Juan Zamorano-Gonzalez.

La Radio Raza Latina is the only Spanish-language, issues-oriented radio program in Southeastern Michigan. The focus of La Radio Raza Latina is to discuss news that is important to Latinos in Michigan and the US. La Radio Raza Latina is the radio program of Latin American people that identifies with our families, our town, and our people.

This this week’s episode, Martha and Juan talk with Stefanie Stauffer of Nightshade Army Industries talks about the urban farming movement and how the Tillian Farm Development Center is helping farmers work local fields. Next, Molli Thompson Morgan of Safe House joins Martha and Juan in the studio to discuss domestic violence. Finally, Jorge Luna from Catholic Social Services in Washtenaw County calls in to join the discussion as he focuses on his interventions with men with respect to domestic Violence.
