From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the twenty-third episode of La Radio Raza Latina hosted by Juan Zamorano-Gonzalez and Marchela Di Sant.
La Radio Raza Latina is the only Spanish-language, issues-oriented radio program in Southeastern Michigan. The focus of La Radio Raza Latina is to discuss news that is important to Latinos in Michigan and the US. La Radio Raza Latina is the radio program of Latin American people that identifies with our families, our town, and our people.
In this week’s episode, Juan and Marcela are joined by Miriam Jiménez author of “Inventive Politicians and Ethnic Ascent in American Politics: The Uphill Elections of Italians and Mexicans to the U.S. Congress”. Together the three discuss how minorities can will elections in the United States as well as the implications to the recent DAPA / DACA ruling by the United States Supreme Court.
