The Music & Arts Guild Showcase, Episode 102 :: Dora Diaspora

Hosted by James McGee

[PODCAST]

From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the one hundred and second episode of The Music & Arts Guild Showcase with your host, James McGee.

AM1700 is joining forces with The Music & Arts Guild to form a supergroup not seen since The Birthday Party and members of Einsturzende Neubauten and Magazine teamed up to form Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

Focusing on local music with weekly live, in-studio performances, the Music & Arts Guild Showcase aims to spotlight bands that are making great music in the area. James handcrafts each show by picking out only the best in local music.

In this week’s episode, Dora Diaspora comes back to into the AM1700 studios with a new project but with a very, very old keyboard. Joined by Chris on guitar, Dora cranks up her harmonium and sets a mood.

Released 27 September, 2018

Recorded live at AM1700 Radio in historic, downtown Ypsilanti, MI.
