The Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard, Episode 16

From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the sixteenth episode of the Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard.

Moving from print media, Mark Maynard brings his interview style to the world of AM radio. In the first hour, Mark talks with State Representative David Rutledge about the state of Michigan’s roads. Rep. Rutledge later admits that he might like to go back to being a disc jockey spinning jazz records after his current term is up. Mark then talks with biking activist Bob Krzewinski about biking, busing, and walking in Ypsilanti. In the second hour, Amber Fellows, Ben Miller, and Patrick Elkins recap Totally Awesome Fest. Matt Siegfried gives the 1830’s installment of the People’s History of Ypsilanti. Finally, Fangs & Twang rip it up in the station with a bunch of monster-themed ditties before dishing the dirt on their time in Black Jake & The Carnies. The show ends with Cre Fuller stopping by to let everyone know he’s concerned about catching Hepatitis C from eating leftovers purchased from unclean restaurant customers.
