The Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard, Episode 17

From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the seventeenth episode of the Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard.

Moving from print media, Mark Maynard brings his interview style to the world of AM radio. In the first hour, Mark discusses community policing with Derrick Jackson, the Director of Community Engagement from the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office. Former Ypsilanti resident Blake Elliott stops by to chat about Traverse City and play a song before a downtown gig. In the second hour, Mark talks with business owner Mike Nix about how things are going at the Ypsilanti Running Company as well as how deep fried cheese can be a motivator to exercising. The two also reminisce about having lived in some obscure town in Georgia. Finally, Modern Lady Fitness talks about what it’s like to fire a bass player in such an uncertain economy. They then enthrall the studio audience with a bunch of songs with their new bass player.

Released 16 May, 2015
