The Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard, Episode 18

From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the eighteenth episode of the Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard.

Moving from print media, Mark Maynard brings his interview style to the world of AM radio. In the first hour, Mark talks with author Josh Malerman about what it’s like to be a successful author. Josh then reads a selection from his horror novel “Bird Box” and accompanies himself on the organ. During The People’s History of Ypsilanti With Matt Siegrfried, Matt tells of the horrors took place in town at the time. In the second hour, Autumn Rae talks about gang life as a member of the Femme Petals and the Ypsilanti NoNos and reveals where her true loyalties lie. Finally, Jim Cherewick sings what is probably the most hauntingly beautiful song ever written about Merona dresses. The show ends with a caller admitting that he bought a house on River Street so he could move to Ypsilanti and be closer to the AM1700 studios.

Released 30 May, 2015
