The Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard, Episode 35

From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the thirty-fifth episode of the Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard.

Moving from print media, Mark Maynard brings his interview style to the world of AM radio. In the final episode of 2015, Mark pushes the boundaries of what is listenable radio right into a woodchipper. He then douses those remaining fragments with gasoline and lights them on fire in a glorious homage to Frank Capra’s “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

Throughout the evening Mark is joined by a cast of characters from the past year and engages in conversations ranging from volunteer fire departments in the Lake Erie Islands to the state of improv comedy in Washtenaw County; from even more tree talk to holiday-themed BDSM.

Drawing inspiration from Linus’ Christmas monologue, the Who Guy gives the audience the highlight of the evening as he walks everyone down memory lane as we relive the past year in crank calls.
