The Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard, Episode 36

From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the thirty-sixth episode of the Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard.

Moving from print media, Mark Maynard brings his interview style to the world of AM radio. Mark delivers his best show to date as he kicks off 2016 with some heavy topics.

In the first hour, Mark talks with Ramone Williams and Brittney Barros about teen homelessness as Ramone discusses the struggles of being homeless and attending college at the same time. Brittney shares her past experiences as a homeless high school student. Megan DeVoe from Eastern Michigan University’s MAGIC program and Allie Schrader from Ozone House join the conversation to talk about community resources that exist to help people like Ramone and Brittney.

In the second hour Mark interviews LeeAnne Walters about the Flint water crisis. LeeAnne shocks the audience as she details the missteps, bumbling incompetence, and tragic indifference displayed by those liable for this disaster from Flint Utilities Department all the way up to Governor Rick Snyder.

Finally, Stefan Graf of Illuminart and Fantasee Lighting stops by for what is sure to be his if first of many visits as he shares anecdotes about his life in rock and roll. In this segment, Stefan talks about opening for Led Zeppelin and going on tour with Grand Funk Railroad.
