From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the fortieth episode of the Saturday Six Pack With Mark Maynard.

Moving from print media, Mark Maynard brings his interview style to the world of AM radio. In the first hour, Mark and Jamall Bufford talk about the Athletic Mic League, The Black Opera, and getting The Black Nirvana production ready for audiences. Later, LeeAnne Walters calls in to update everyone the ongoing Flint Water Crisis. She also shares her experiences testifying before Congress.

In the second hour, Yanna Lambrinidou, Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Science and Technology Studies at Virginia Tech, calls in to talk about the shortcomings of the EPA’s Lead and Copper Rule (LCR) and how lead-in-water problems are missed using current test methods. Up next, Judith Kullberg and Howard Bunsis discuss the new Eastern Michigan University President, EMU’s tremendous spending on athletics, and the EAA. The show ends with Judith saying the Faculty are the most important part of the University and should be taking a greater leadership role.
