From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the fourteenth episode of WICKidz Radio hosted by WICIR, the Washtenaw Interfaith Coalition for Immigration Rights.
WICKidz Radio is locally run by youth for youth in the Ypsilanti area. The show focuses on local and national social justice issues. The goal is that listeners can learn and take inspiration from the perspectives of young people, and go out to make a difference.
In this month’s episode, the Manny, Andres & Genesis are joined in the studio by current Washtenaw County Commissioner Yousef Rabhi. The kids try to nail him down on his positions as they discuss his campaign for the 53rd District of the Michigan House of Representatives. The recent shootings in St. Paul, Baton Rouge, and Dallas.
