From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the fourteenth episode of The Music & Arts Guild Showcase with your host, James McGee.
AM1700 is joining forces with The Music & Arts Guild to form a supergroup not seen since The Birthday Party and members of Einsturzende Neubauten and Magazine teamed up to form Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
Focusing on local music with weekly live, in-studio performances, the Music & Arts Guild Showcase aims to spotlight bands that are making great music in the area. James handcrafts each show by picking out only the best in local music.
In this week’s episode, Telco joins James in the studio for a bittersweet session. In a world broadcast premiere, Telco’s lastest EP, fresh out of mastering, is debuted much to the delight of the studio audience. Then the band plays another four songs live as they bid a fond farewell to their drummer.
