The Music & Arts Guild Showcase, Episode 29 :: Streaking In Tongues

Hosted by James McGee 10 November, 2016

From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the twenty-ninth episode of The Music & Arts Guild Showcase with your special guest hostess, James McGee.

AM1700 is joining forces with The Music & Arts Guild to form a supergroup not seen since The Birthday Party and members of Einsturzende Neubauten and Magazine teamed up to form Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

Focusing on local music with weekly live, in-studio performances, the Music & Arts Guild Showcase aims to spotlight bands that are making great music in the area. James handcrafts each show by picking out only the best in local music.

In this week’s episode, Ronnie Ferguson brings his project, Streaking In Tongues, into the studio. Ronnie runs through a set of songs so personal and heartfelt, you will tear up. HW Honeycutt also reads excerpts from his most recent book.

Released 10 November, 2016

Recorded live at AM1700 Radio in historic, downtown Ypsilanti, MI.
