From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the thirtieth episode of The Music & Arts Guild Showcase with your special guest host, James McGee.
AM1700 is joining forces with The Music & Arts Guild to form a supergroup not seen since The Birthday Party and members of Einsturzende Neubauten and Magazine teamed up to form Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
Focusing on local music with weekly live, in-studio performances, the Music & Arts Guild Showcase aims to spotlight bands that are making great music in the area. James handcrafts each show by picking out only the best in local music.
In this week’s episode, Ex-American stops by the station to visit with James and play some songs. Courtney and James put the experimental in avante garde as they create an atmosphere that is a dreamy haze of electronic goodness.
