From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the thirty-second episode of The Music & Arts Guild Showcase with your host, James McGee.
AM1700 is joining forces with The Music & Arts Guild to form a supergroup not seen since The Birthday Party and members of Einsturzende Neubauten and Magazine teamed up to form Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
Focusing on local music with weekly live, in-studio performances, the Music & Arts Guild Showcase aims to spotlight bands that are making great music in the area. James handcrafts each show by picking out only the best in local music.
In this week’s episode, James has the good fortune to have two musical acts at his disposal. Josh Arutoff AKA Mac Starr is up first with his energetic style of rocking out. Next up is Nick Zomparelli AKA NODATA. His intricate loops fill the studio with a big sound as he delivers dreamy instrumentals for the listening audience.
