The Music & Arts Guild Showcase, Episode 60 :: Chill Spector

Hosted by Kate de Fuccio

[PODCAST]

From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the sixtieth episode of The Music & Arts Guild Showcase with your host, Kate de Fuccio.

AM1700 is joining forces with The Music & Arts Guild to form a supergroup not seen since The Birthday Party and members of Einsturzende Neubauten and Magazine teamed up to form Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

Focusing on local music with weekly live, in-studio performances, the Music & Arts Guild Showcase aims to spotlight bands that are making great music in the area. James handcrafts each show by picking out only the best in local music.

In this week’s episode, Kate de Fuccio fills in for regular host, James McGee. Stevie Tee visits the station again to talk about his new project, Chill Spector. He brings that projects new album, “Shift Symbols”. A listening party ensues as the album is played in its entirety.

Released 27 July, 2017

Recorded live at AM1700 Radio in historic, downtown Ypsilanti, MI.
