From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the eighty-third episode of The Music & Arts Guild Showcase with your special guest host, James McGee.
AM1700 is joining forces with The Music & Arts Guild to form a supergroup not seen since The Birthday Party and members of Einsturzende Neubauten and Magazine teamed up to form Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
Focusing on local music with weekly live, in-studio performances, the Music & Arts Guild Showcase aims to spotlight bands that are making great music in the area. James handcrafts each show by picking out only the best in local music.
In this week’s episode, James is joined by Jordan Collingridge. Jordan sits down for a chat with James before his project, Telementals, goes off on a long bender of noise rock blended with the psychedlic. His spacey concoction captures the hearts and minds the audience.
