From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the ninety-first episode of The Music & Arts Guild Showcase with your special guest host, Kate de Fuccio.
AM1700 is joining forces with The Music & Arts Guild to form a supergroup not seen since The Birthday Party and members of Einsturzende Neubauten and Magazine teamed up to form Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
Focusing on local music with weekly live, in-studio performances, the Music & Arts Guild Showcase aims to spotlight bands that are making great music in the area. James handcrafts each show by picking out only the best in local music.
In this week’s episode, Chris Taylor drops by the station to promote Fuzzfest 5 coming up June 21st through the 23rd at the Blind Pig in Ann Arbor. Chris talks about the evolution of the event as well as why James’ band didn’t make the cut this year.
