From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the tenth episode of WICKidz Radio hosted by WICIR, the Washtenaw Interfaith Coalition for Immigration Rights.
WICKidz Radio is locally run by youth for youth in the Ypsilanti area. The show focuses on local and national social justice issues. The goal is that listeners can learn and take inspiration from the perspectives of young people, and go out to make a difference.
In this month’s episode, the Andres and Manny are joined by Genesis Garmendia as they talk about selective solidarity with respect to the political crises happening around the world. During the sports segment, Manny makes his predictions for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Genesis debuts a new segment about this day in history.
