WICKidz Radio, Episode 13

From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the thirteenth episode of WICKidz Radio hosted by WICIR, the Washtenaw Interfaith Coalition for Immigration Rights.
WICKidz Radio is locally run by youth for youth in the Ypsilanti area. The show focuses on local and national social justice issues. The goal is that listeners can learn and take inspiration from the perspectives of young people, and go out to make a difference.
In this month’s episode, the kids celebrate their one-year anniversary of being on the air. Andres and Manny are joined in the studio with Genesis. Together they interview Steven Kwasny, candidate for the 53rd District of the Michigan House of Representatives. The kids grill him on campaign finance reform, violence in America, and Immigrant Rights.
